Garies is a small agricultural, administrative and tourism town in the Kamiesberg Local Municipality, within the Namakwa District Municipality of the Northern Cape. It lies beside the N7, approximately 110 to 120 km south of Springbok, on the main route between Cape Town and Namibia.
